No Playboy Club at Crown Casino

James Packer’s Melbourne Casino, Crown has been thwarted in its plan to open a playboy bunny style casino similar to the one in Las Vegas’s Palm hotel / casino.

Talks ground to a halt when Playboy Australia franchise owner Mr Chris Cronis failed to see the compatibility between the two brands. Crown admitted that there was no hope of getting the deal back on the rails, but conceded that they will look into other adult lifestyle options that could compliment Crown casinos offering.

So it seems that James Packer will get his way one way or another, if it’s not Playboy, it’s likely to be an alternative that is just as good if not better. Funnily enough you get the feeling that it’s Playboy that might end up regretting this lost deal rather than Crown…
